Just a quick note to say I'm doing okay. My supervisor has turned me loose unsupervised at the front counter, and I'm juggling info requests, zoning questions and building permits with comfort if not flair. (Not so the building terminology, but I'll learn. )
How is it possible that a simple two line phone system could be such an annoyance? I get a kick out of the counter people, but right about 2 o'clock I hit my limit on answering phones. I answer them anyway, of course, but with considerable less cheer.
